About DisplayWatch

DisplayWatch is the feature of ColorShuttle that can be automatically configured to upload monitor profiles to Maxwell. Maxwell checks profiles for variation and consistency - and can send email notifiers when colors are out of line.

At this time, DisplayWatch is only available for Mac computers.

Setting up DisplayWatch

Before DisplayWatch can be activated, the user needs:

Bond Track to Display

ColorShuttle Displaywatch - "Bond to Maxwell Track" button
  1. Open ColorShuttle on your computer. ColorShuttle will automatically detect all displays that are connected to your computer.
  2. Click on the display you want to track.
  3. Click on the Bond to Maxwell Track button to bond the display to the Maxwell track. Browse to the device and track you wish to bond to.
  4. Click "OK".

Notifiers

Notifier icon.jpg Finally, setting up Maxwell Notifiers will allow you to be informed when a new profile falls outside of tolerances for your display. For example, you can set up notifiers to send you an email if the average ∆E difference in a future monitor profile falls outside a certain range.
