Standard

[1] A published approved example or measure used for comparison. In the printing industry there are official groups which publish standards to encourage uniform, consistent, quality results.
Among them are ISO, ANSI, FOGRA, IDEAlliance, and others.
Note that a Standard is usually a Specification that has been raised to the level of a Standard.
[2] A commonly accepted level of quality.
